ComIng out to some of my friends were easy but i don't know how to tell my family because i'm scared and shy. Is there a way that would make it easier for me to tell them?

I think usually families know something is "up" to begin with. Most of my friends had a positive experience of coming out. Their families said; "oh thank God it's not drugs!" or something to that effect. I don't think who you choose to love should matter so much

I never really "came out", I have just always been honest with myself and that's what matters. My dad saw me with my girl and he threw me out, but it doesn't matter. If he doesn't like it than what am I to do? Just keep being yourself. I've never understood the whole "coming out" thing, I mean, why do I have to tell everyone my sexuality? Ever heard of straights coming out at straights to they're parents? "Mom, dad, I like the opposite sex"
