I know I am not the only one with this situation.
A year ago I met a student who I thought was cute, but really nothing more. Over time we became good friends, and I developed feelings for him. My policy has been and will always be no straight guys, I cant stand that stereotype. But I was very open to this friend. We ended up taking a break and since then have become great friends.
Now, it has happened again. This time it just went crazy. I have been told to give him space, but its been three weeks, I even left for a week to get away. He has not talked to me, even waits for me to leave, hiding somewhere avoiding me all together.
Its hard, especially when you have become great friends to just let go. And though I have moved on, he shoes he has not and it effects me.
Any advice?

This is sad, and I kind of can get where you are coming from. I know this topic is a bit old, and things may have changed since then. But, I think that since he's avoiding you the best thing to do would just be to let it be; Keep giving him space until he comes around.
